Victorian Era Brass Telescope

A very Ralph Lauren-esque fixture, this Victorian era brass telescope has an articulated tripod base and would have likely been a spotting scope aboard a major sailing vessel. The piece is in excellent condition and has a lovely aged patina.
Currently for decorative values only, but would be made functional with the correct eyepiece (the original lost at sea). 41” long x 19.5” tall when the telescope is in the horizontal position.
